RHS & Beyond

Some highlights of my career include representing the UK at the 11th World Flower Show in 2014. Delivering a floral demonstration on that grand stage and receiving a standing ovation from the audience is a memory I cherish deeply. I have the continued honour of working with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) at their major shows, including Chelsea and Hampton Court. I create annual large scale inspirational floral installations at RHS Malvern Spring & Autumn shows plus the absolute joy of designing the acclaimed “Floral Bridge ” for the inaugural Chatsworth Flower show followed by the UK’s largest breath-taking display of Phalaenopsis orchids. In 2020 I was delighted to receive a prestigious honorary membership of the Institute of Professional Floristry from the BFA ( British Floristry Association). In 2023 I had the honor of being awarded the Harlow Carr medal in recognition for services to floristry and horticulture in the North of England.

British Flowers & Flower Growers

The world of flowers is my passion and I use my  love of nature and my garden as a focus for many of my designs. I am a huge advocate for seasonal flowers and I am a UK ambassador for British flowers. I actively promotes British flower farming and growing at all the major UK shows and events when demonstrating or lecturing to the floral and horticultural industry. I was instrumental in the concept and design for the hugely popular British Flower Bus, which I took around the major flower shows as an educational and promotional vehicle to raise consumer awareness about our amazing British Growers.

Workshops & Demonstrations

I am based in Derbyshire where I conduct workshops and demonstrations. Sharing my knowledge and passion with others is something I find incredibly rewarding. There's nothing quite like nurturing new talent and seeing the spark of inspiration in someone's eyes.

Television

In addition to my hands-on work with flowers, I've also enjoyed a fulfilling media career. I've been a part of several prestigious television programs such as the BBC's "The Big Allotment Challenge" and ITV's "Love Your Weekend." These opportunities have allowed me to reach a wider audience and share my love for floristry in a more personal and engaging way. My work has also been featured in numerous publications including Metro, Ilkley Gazette, SoGlos, Country and Town House, Harrogate Advertiser, Sunderland Echo, House Beautiful, and Pro Landscaper.

When I'm not busy designing or teaching, I love being in my garden and walking my doggies.

Thank you for visiting my site. If you're interested in learning more about my work, attending a workshop, or exploring media opportunities, please don't hesitate to contact me. Let's create something beautiful together!

Hello

I'm Jonathan Moseley, a floral designer with over 30 years of experience in the wonderful world of flowers. My journey into floristry began quite early, thanks to a special gift from my parents on my eleventh birthday – a greenhouse. That simple yet profound gesture ignited a passion in me that has only grown stronger over the years. By the time I was twelve, I had already won my first floral competition, and I knew that working with flowers was my calling.

Throughout my career, I've been fortunate to build a reputation for being innovative and creative with my designs. I thrive on pushing the boundaries of floral art, always seeking new ways to bring beauty and elegance into the world. My work has taken me to some incredible places and allowed me to meet and collaborate with amazing people.
